This week, we interview one of the longest serving members of South Dorset Spurs – Modders

The Warm Up
Hi my names Andy Brown (Modric) I have been part of South Dorset Spurs from day one and it is amazing how big the club has grown over the last few years! I didn’t choose to be a spurs fan – spurs choose me! Back in 1985 I lay in a hospital bed unsure at the age of five what my future would hold. I had been diagnosed type one diabetic. I loved football but didn’t support a club. A few days later a long letter and signed photo arrived from a footballer who was playing at the top of his game and he was also a type one diabetic his name Gary Mabbutt. After a few more letters between us i was now a Tottenham fan and my hero will always be Gary. We have spoken many times over the years and share both our diabetic stories and love for spurs!
1. As a youngster, who was your Spurs hero?
Obviously Gary Mabbutt
2. Who is your favorite player from the current Squad?
Harry Kane
3. From World football, who would you most like to see in a Spurs shirt?
Toni Kroos
4. What is your favorite piece of Spurs memorabilia?
I have loads but my favourite ones are A dedicated copy of Gary Mabbutts book, a match worn Aaron Lennon poppy shirt and a signed fa cup 1991 cup final programme!
5. Where in the world have you watched Spurs live other than UK?
In a bar in Barbados! It was hilarious all the locals had every English team shirts and they put on the team who was playing they just had a passion for football.
6. Which former player would you love to see in the current squad?
David Ginola
7. Most memorable Spurs moment? 
Being at the match we beat Wigan 9-1 and Defoe diving onto the crowd right by me I was on match of the day several times!
8. Who was your most disappointing Spurs signing?
Hossam Ghaly
